This is some of my AS Level Art Final Pieces I must have forgotten to upload; these paintings were sort of a stepping stone onto a much more larger scope of work which has inspired me to do other things; ie Architecture / Installed Arts / Computational Design

An Architecural Proposal tackling the Algal Blooma in the New Mexico Gulf Dead Zone: Mississippi River Delta. The proposal is a speculation of the future; where the setting takes place in a apocalyptical future; where the algae has taken over the South Delta and caused a loss of proper water and collapse of ecosystems. This project is a debrief of rejuvenating the water collection and harvesting and the creation of Phoslock: a compound used now commercially to break down algae growth.

Introduction: A catacomb designed that uses unconventional methods of navigation through spaces ; via light, wind and noise that essentially guides visitors through spaces. It also debates and explores the idea of soft ornamentation of Protocell technology; where the material of this structure is speculative in the sense that it has the capacity to think for itself: regenerate, grow, expand and decay in a biological fashion.

The hand drawings (covered in the post below) speculate this theory regarding Protocell technology ;once again fusing biomedical technology and architecture.

These drawings are a exploration of Protocell technology and how buildings can be used to grow, expand and decay by having the nature and capacity to think for itself. It becomes thus an extension of construction, but this is still developing in terms of research and these drawings below explore the nature and volatile ways it can be used to our advantage. These drawings are a exploration of a building that is a Catacomb.

Figure 1:  An ambigious plan showing the entrance of the Catacomb, expressing the fragility of the material and the possibility of expansion and growth as a structure.

Figure 2: An exaggerated section cut through the Church Space, expressing the Catacomb’s Church space to function like lungs, inhaling wind and exhaling it out.

Figure 3: An exaggerated schematic section cut through the membrane representing the Catacomb’s mouthpiece: it’s form of expansion via consumption.

A logo creation designed upon the cork module.
Carpark Facade Redevelopment  6A

The Concept has been developed from the idea of erosion; a more linear form of erosion that moves and creates a pattern when you drive by it. It is a modular design that consists of panels of cork that adhere to the concept 'timber and time'.

Fungal Jungle

Something different.
